About Julianne

Julianne has a BA in English and Creative Writing from San Francisco State University as well as an MFA in English and Creative Writing from Mills College where she was founding poetry editor of 580 Split, the graduate literary magazine of Mills College. Julianne also holds a credential from San Francisco State University for teaching College Level Composition. Julianne is a nationally published poet and spent five years serving as poetry editor for Rainbow Curve, a literary magazine out of Las Vegas.

Currently, Julianne lives in the San Francisco Bay Area with her partner and two children where she raises goats, ducks and chickens.  You can read about Julianne's adventures in urban farming in her blog The Ghetto Farmer.
